Welcome to our website. We are the NABIP Kansas City Chapter or NABIP-KC for short. We are the local chapter of the National Association of Benefits and Insurance Professionals. We're here to protect Greater Kansas City's health, financial and retirement security needs through advocacy, professional development, and public education.
The National Association of Benefits and Insurance Professionals represents more than 100,000 licensed health insurance agents, brokers, general agents, consultants and benefit professionals through more than 200 chapters across America. NABIP members service the health insurance needs of large and small employers as well as people seeking individual health insurance coverage.
Every day, NABIP members work to obtain insurance for clients who are struggling to balance their desire to purchase high-quality and comprehensive health coverage with the reality of rapidly escalating medical care costs. As such, one of NABIP's primary goals is to do everything we can to promote access to affordable health insurance coverage.
Join NABIP Kansas City and EBPA for the KC Benefits & Insurance Summit, a one-day joint conference for benefits and insurance professionals. Featuring keynote speakers Brad Montgomery and Jim Knight, the event includes two CE tracks covering cost containment strategies, compliance updates, AI in benefits, provider networks, and data analytics. Attendees can earn five CE credits while networking with industry peers and gaining practical insights to better serve employers and clients.

NABIP Capitol Conference 2026
Racing Ahead!
February 22-24th, Jason Powers, Rosalind Gibson and Brad Gibson traveled to Washington DC to join 800 NABIP members at CAPCON. We spend three days meeting with other NABIP professionals, speakers and our legislators serving the needs of our customers.
This year was our 36th annual national conference! We met with industry leaders, elected officials, and participated in a dynamic exchange of ideas and strategies. We were there for YOU.
